ABOUT WNTR ROSE

WNTR ROSE
A Modern Apothecary Meets Indie Boutique

Born from the legacy of my Japanese grandmother and rooted in the belief that self-care is a sacred, everyday ritual, WNTR ROSE was more than a boutique—it was a space that encapsulated ideals of resilience, beauty, and community. Located in Denver’s historic Golden Triangle, our brick-and-mortar shop served as a modern apothecary and indie boutique, offering clean, intentional personal care goods for the conscientious consumer.

The name WNTR ROSE was inspired by the winter rose itself—resilient, tender, and capable of blooming through harsh conditions. Much like my grandmother’s journey to the U.S. after WWII, this brand honored strength forged through the power of simple rituals to ground, nourish, and uplift.

Among our most beloved offerings were our signature Body & Linen Mists—Citrus, Lavender, and Tranquil—crafted to mist on skin, linens, laundry, or anywhere in need of a gentle refresh. Packaged in reusable glass bottles and paired with our popular Rosewater Facial Toner, these products became staples for our customers seeking beauty with intention. Every formula was vegan, cruelty-free, and free from parabens, phthalates, and added gluten—because we believe wellness should never come at the expense of health or the planet.

At WNTR ROSE, we celebrated people as they are—never asking them to be more. We welcomed everyone exactly where they were on their journey, hosted community events, and worked with local makers, women, moms, BIPOC, LGBTQ+ business owners, and organizations aligned with anti-racism, sustainability, and community care. Our local refill program was a small act of sustainability and intention—reducing waste while building deeper ties with the community we served.

Though the storefront closed its doors in 2023 due to rising commercial real estate costs, the heart of WNTR ROSE lives on in the ethos I carry into everything I do:

Self-care is Love.
Love is always welcome here.

Creating space for healing, joy, and personal ritual is both an act of resistance and a return to wholeness.
